Understanding Our Reservation Contract
1. Introduction to Our Reservation Agreement
When you decide to reserve a puppy from BCDD, you'll enter into an agreement with our owner, Tamara Nickey. This contract outlines the essential details for both parties—your contact information and ours—ensuring we're all on the same page from the start.
2. The Deposit Process
Non-Refundable Deposit: To reserve a puppy, a $350 non-refundable deposit is required.
Single Reservation: One deposit reserves one puppy. If you’re interested in more than one, an additional deposit is needed for each.
Credit Toward Purchase: The deposit will be credited to your puppy’s final purchase price.
Ownership Clause: Paying the deposit reserves your puppy but doesn’t guarantee ownership or final purchase.
3. How the Reservation Works
48-Hour Selection Window: Once the deposit is made, you’ll have 48 hours to select your puppy from those available.
Weekly Updates: After reserving a puppy, we’ll send you at least one verified video and update each week until your new furry friend is ready to go home.
Extra Updates: Any updates beyond the weekly ones are at our discretion.
4. If Things Change: Withdrawal and Termination
Buyer’s Withdrawal: If you decide to change your mind, your deposit can be used toward another puppy, either from the same or a future litter.
Puppy Health Issues: If something serious happens to your puppy while in our care, you’ll be given the opportunity to apply your deposit to another puppy or receive a refund.
5. Important Disclaimers
Size and Color: We can’t guarantee your puppy’s final size or color, as these can change as the puppy grows.
Temperament: A puppy’s temperament is influenced by various factors, and we can’t guarantee what it will be like as it gets older.
