Understanding Our Payment Contract
1. Meet the Parties
This agreement is between you (the Buyer) and Tamara Nickey (the Seller). The contract ensures everyone is on the same page about how payments are handled and what steps need to be taken for a smooth transaction.
2. Payment Details and What They Include
Balance Definition: When we talk about the "Balance," we're referring to the total price of your chosen puppy. This includes the cost of the puppy and any additional fees for services like shipping, vaccinations, or microchipping. If you’ve already paid a deposit, that amount will be deducted from your final balance.
Payment Timeline: It’s essential that your payment clears before you can pick up or receive your puppy. If your payment isn’t received by the scheduled date, the puppy will stay with the Seller until the balance is paid. You’ll have two weeks to sort out any issues, but if payment isn’t completed, the puppy may be offered to another buyer.
Ownership Transfer: Once the full balance is paid, ownership of the puppy, along with all necessary paperwork, will officially transfer to you.
3. Bringing Your Puppy Home
Scheduling Pickup/Delivery: If you’ve reserved your puppy, you’ll need to arrange for pickup or delivery within five days of their go-home date and complete the process within two weeks. If your puppy’s go-home date has passed, you’ll need to make arrangements within five days of purchase and finalize the pickup or delivery within two weeks.
Pickup: You can choose to pick up your puppy directly from the Seller’s location at no extra cost.
Delivery: If you prefer delivery, the Seller can meet you within 20 miles of their location for free. If the distance is greater, a fee of $0.65 per mile will apply for the round trip.
Shipping: If shipping is necessary, you’ll need to handle those arrangements and cover any extra costs, such as health screenings or additional paperwork.
